5 Ways Newlymine Can Help You Downsize Welcome to NewlyMine.Com!

Canada`s newest and most innovative way to sell your extra stuff!

Are you considering downsizing?  It can be a daunting task, but there are experts available to help if you are overwhelmed.

Did you just complete sorting through your items and have identified the items you no longer need? Good for you! Sorting and processing can take time and emotional effort.

Here is FIVE WAYS Newlymine can faciliate the sale of these items, saving you time, effort and money! Our Qualified SELLERS are experts in selling online!

1. The items do not have to leave your home!
You save money  and/or time in transporting the items to be sold to an off site auction or consignment location. A qualified seller will come to your home, take photos, inventory and assign a LOT
 number for each lot.

2. Not sure what prices to assign to your items?
An auction is a system of buying and selling
goods by offering them for bidding—allowing people to bid and selling to the highest bidder. The bidders compete against each other, with each subsequent bid being higher than the previous bid. Once an item is placed for sale, the seller will set at a relatively low price to attract a large number of bidders. The price increases each time someone makes a new, higher bid until finally, no other bidders are willing to offer more than the most recent bid, and the highest bidder takes the item. An auction is considered complete when the highest bid is determined at the close of bidding.

3. Must I prepare the items for transportation?
In most cases, NO! The bidder is buying them "as is, where is" in your home. This means dishes can be sold right from the cupboard, books can be sold right off the shelf. Beds do not need to be disassembled.  Bidders are required to bring their own boxes and packing material, plus the labor to move the items they buy safely from your home.

4. Do I have to collect the money from the Bidders?
NO! Our approved Seller will accept the funds from the Bidders, then provide you with a detailed reconciliation of the overall sale. Some Sellers will be able to provide credit card and/or debit card terminals the day of the sale as a convenience for the Bidders. Etransfer is a popular way to pay! And, some Bidders prefer to deal in Cash. The Seller will have a small float with them the day of the sale so they can provide change.

5 What happens if something does NOT receive a Bid?
No worries! The item still belongs to you and remains in your home! Unlike moving items to a Consignment Store, you will not be required to pick up the items that did not sell. This happens. Sometimes items do not appeal to the people interested in buying. Tastes and interests are constantly changing.  If something does not sell, you can decide what next steps to take - donation is a great choice! And occasionally, disposal is another option.
